Fire doors don’t usually fail in a fire… they fail before that through corrosion, misalignment, damaged hardware, or years of use and abuse. A picture speaks a thousand words. It’s a cliché, but once again, it proves true. These photos show a fire door retrofit on an operating asset, where repair was no longer enough and certified performance had to be restored, not just “made to close again”.
